When it comes to audiology, or any healthcare really, looking for the rules, regulations, and laws of your individual state can be an arduous task. There is so much information from so many different sources – it can be hard to find, outdated, or just flat-out wrong.

To make it plain and simple, we’ve compiled  all the information we could regarding the ACA, Medicaid, and various other things you should know when looking to get audiological care in your state.

Number of audiologists in the US

The number of audiologists based in the US has increased in 2018 to a total of 13,300, this is a 10.6% increase from the previous year where the number was just over 12,000. Use the map above to find the total number of audiologists based in your state as well as other useful hearing information.
