Lindsey Banks is a licensed audiologist with extensive clinical experience providing hearing healthcare and hearing technology services, including comprehensive hearing diagnostics, hearing aid evaluations, fittings, troubleshooting and rehabilitation. She is a graduate of the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program at the University of Florida where she was also a research assistant. Prior to obtaining her doctorate degree, Dr. Banks attended Florida State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Child Development. She has always wanted to have a career that focused on helping people. Luckily, she found out about audiology and has never looked back.
During her 10+ years career as a doctor of audiology, she has had the privilege of serving Veteran's with hearing loss in a VA hospital, gained tons of clinical experience working as an audiologist and tinnitus specialist at a multi-site Ear, Nose, and Throat Practice, and has been exposed to the manufacturing side of hearing devices as an account manager for a global hearing aid manufacturer. She has received several awards and recognition throughout her career, including an "Outstanding Customer Service Award", an "Academy Scholar Award", and has been voted "Best Audiologist" in her local community for 3 years in a row. Dr. Banks is also a member of the American Academy of Audiology.
She uses her diverse experience in hearing healthcare and her passion for helping people to provide credible information to those with hearing loss who visit Clear Living. When Lindsey is not practicing audiology, you can find her reading, traveling, and going for walks with her husband and their two dogs.
Her writing has also been featured on Huffington Post and Hearing Life Magazine.
